Charlie doesn’t have a showroom. Most of his work is custom ordered.
He can usually manage to dust off/uncover some pieces from the back room of his shop, when requested. He’s a ‘chop wood, carry water’, ‘move at his own pace’ artist, and marketing is not his forte, nor does he want it to be. The art, the process of creating, is what moves Charlie. So please note this website is a gift from friends who love & respect his work and want to spread the beauty for others to see, & perhaps own. Having had the pleasure of observing Charlie work through the years it is an amazing process of presence, attention to detail, creativity & elegant simplicity.

It’s rare to order on Monday and get it on Friday, so to speak.
He works slowly and deliberately. He may stop in the middle of a project to take days off to sail or simply ‘be’, or literally chop wood, or tend to his goats, or friends..... whatever moves him in the moment.
